ISO 45001 Framework

ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance. ISO 45001 is designed to prevent work-related injury and ill-health and to provide safe and healthy workplaces. As an international standard, ISO 45001 crosses geographic, political, economic, commercial and social boundaries. This sets a single benchmark for the management of occupational health and safety.

Certification Journey

The initial assessment determines if the mandatory requirements of the standard are being met and if the management system is capable of proceeding to stage 2

This second assessment determines the effectiveness of the system and seeks to confirm that the management system is implemented and operational

At this point in the process we review any corrective action taken to address findings raised at stage 1 & 2. Certification may be recommended

The organisation’s file are reviewed by an independent and impartial panel and the certifxication decision is made

Successful certification is communicated to the client. Certificates are issued
